Preheat Oven or Grill:
Oven: Preheat to 400°F (200°C)
Grill: Preheat to medium-high heat
Make the Patties:
In a bowl, mix ground beef with garlic powder, onion powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Form into 4 equal burger patties.
Prep the Veggies & Potatoes:
In another bowl, toss quartered potatoes and vegetables with olive oil, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
Assemble Foil Packets:
Cut 4 large sheets of heavy-duty foil. In the center of each, add a portion of the potatoes and vegetables. Place a burger patty on top. Seal foil tightly into packets.
Cook:
Oven: Bake packets on a baking sheet for 30–35 minutes, or until potatoes are tender and burgers are fully cooked.
Grill: Grill over indirect heat for 25–30 minutes, flipping once.
Add Cheese & Finish:
Carefully open each foil packet, place a slice of cheese over the burger, and reseal loosely. Let sit for 2–3 minutes off heat to melt the cheese.
Serve:
Open packets fully and serve with optional condiments or a side salad.
