Prepare the Chicken:
- Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, heat olive oil.
- Cook chicken for 5–6 minutes per side or until golden brown and cooked through.
- Transfer to a plate and keep warm.
Make the Garlic Sauce:
- In the same skillet, melt butter.
- Add garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant (don’t let it brown).
- Pour in chicken broth and bring to a simmer, scraping up any brown bits.
Add Cream & Cheese:
- Stir in heavy cream, Parmesan, and Italian seasoning.
- Simmer gently for 3–5 minutes, until sauce thickens slightly.
Combine & Finish:
- Return chicken to the skillet and spoon sauce over the top.
- Simmer for another 2–3 minutes until everything is heated through.
Garnish & Serve:
- Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve hot over mashed potatoes, pasta, or rice.
