Ingredients
  

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 6 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • ¾ cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley optional

Method
 

Prepare the Chicken:
  1. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, heat olive oil.
  3. Cook chicken for 5–6 minutes per side or until golden brown and cooked through.
  4. Transfer to a plate and keep warm.
Make the Garlic Sauce:
  1. In the same skillet, melt butter.
  2. Add garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant (don’t let it brown).
  3. Pour in chicken broth and bring to a simmer, scraping up any brown bits.
Add Cream & Cheese:
  1. Stir in heavy cream, Parmesan, and Italian seasoning.
  2. Simmer gently for 3–5 minutes, until sauce thickens slightly.
Combine & Finish:
  1. Return chicken to the skillet and spoon sauce over the top.
  2. Simmer for another 2–3 minutes until everything is heated through.
Garnish & Serve:
  1. Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve hot over mashed potatoes, pasta, or rice.
