Method
Prepare Chicken:
- Season both sides of chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
Sear Chicken:
- Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add chicken and cook for 5–6 minutes per side, or until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
Make Sauce:
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds.
- Add chicken broth and Italian seasoning, bring to a simmer.
- Stir in cream cheese until melted and smooth.
- (Optional) Add Parmesan for extra richness.
Combine:
- Return chicken to the skillet and spoon sauce over the top.
- Simmer for 5 more minutes to heat through.
Serve:
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot with your favorite sides.
Notes
- You can use chicken thighs if preferred.
- Add sautéed spinach or mushrooms to the sauce for more texture.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
