Ingredients
  

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened, cut into cubes
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese optional
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Method
 

Prepare Chicken:
  1. Season both sides of chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
Sear Chicken:
  1. Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add chicken and cook for 5–6 minutes per side, or until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
Make Sauce:
  1. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds.
  2. Add chicken broth and Italian seasoning, bring to a simmer.
  3. Stir in cream cheese until melted and smooth.
  4. (Optional) Add Parmesan for extra richness.
Combine:
  1. Return chicken to the skillet and spoon sauce over the top.
  2. Simmer for 5 more minutes to heat through.
Serve:
  1. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot with your favorite sides.

Notes

  • You can use chicken thighs if preferred.
  • Add sautéed spinach or mushrooms to the sauce for more texture.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
