Method
Prepare Chicken:
- Pound chicken breasts to even thickness if needed.
- Season with salt and pepper, then lightly dredge in flour.
Cook Chicken:
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
- Sear chicken breasts 4–5 minutes per side until golden and cooked through.
- Remove chicken and set aside.
Make Lemon Sauce:
- In the same pan, reduce heat and add butter and garlic. Cook 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in chicken broth and lemon juice. Stir in lemon zest.
- Simmer 4–5 minutes, scraping the bottom of the pan to deglaze.
Finish the Dish:
- Return chicken to the skillet and let it simmer in the sauce for another 3–4 minutes.
- Spoon sauce over chicken and garnish with parsley and lemon slices.

- Pair with: Rice, roasted vegetables, or pasta.
- Storage: Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
- Tip: For extra richness, stir in 2 tbsp heavy cream at the end.
